In March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic struck the world. Food Forward examines how some businesses in the food sector in the Northeastern United States  managed to persevere through some of the new challenges brought on by the pandemic.



Episode 1: The Farm

Facing Interruptions in the food supply chain and a massive loss in revenue, the staff at Lively Run Goat Dairy in Interlaken, NY found creative solutions to forge onward while supporting their community in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.



Episode 2: The Sea

Lobstermen in Fairhaven, MA had an excess of lobsters as restaurants closed at the start of the pandemic. The fishers had to determine a new way to sell their catch and save their age-old livelihood.



Episode 3: The Plate

When COVID-19 took over New York City, restaurants had to pivot in order to keep their doors open. This episode follows three restaurateurs in Brooklyn as they learn to move forward.
